Tasting Notes: Savory and textural, this earthy Pinot Noir has fascinating notes of black tea, pomegranate, and rhubarb. With balanced, well-integrated acidity and soft tannins, the hallmark of this wine is its generous, supple texture. It displays layers of whole-cluster spice, and has a subtle saline quality that is characteristic of this ocean-facing site.
Winemaking: Native yeast. 35% whole-cluster fermentation in small, open-top fermenters. Aged in once- and twice-used French oak barrels for 14 months with regular lees stirring. Unfined and unfiltered.
