Regular price $27.00

Tasting Notes: Delicate, mouthwatering, and focused, this mineral Rosé is fresh and zippy with notes of stone fruit, melon, and fresh rain. With excellent acidity and effortless balance, it displays the slightly savory side of Rosé that we love from old-vine Carignan.

Vineyard: Trimble Ranch - Hopland, Mendocino County AVA
Planted in 1942, this certified organic vineyard is located in the heart of Hopland in southeastern Mendocino County. The head-trained Carignan vines thrive in this warm area, and because the vineyard is dry farmed, the vines have developed deep root systems, allowing the fruit to achieve intense, concentrated flavor at lower Brix. This low-yielding, 83-year-old Carignan block produces fruit with excellent natural acidity ideal for making exceptional Rosé.

Winemaking: 100% destemmed. Direct to press. Fermented with native yeast in stainless steel at cool temperatures to preserve the freshness and aromatics.

Vintage: 2025 in Mendocino County was an outstanding vintage overall. Coming off of a wet winter, we enjoyed a mild spring and summer, with a remarkably even growing season where temperatures remained moderate through harvest without any notable heat events. Excellent hangtime led to fruit that showed full phenolic ripeness at lower sugar levels, resulting in complex, balanced wines of depth and concentration.

VinePair - "The 30 Best Rosés of 2026"
"Though often incorporated as part of the blend, it’s rare to see a rosé made with 100 percent Carignan — and even more rare to find one made from 83-year-old vines in Mendocino, Calif. This unique expression from Minus Tide, winery founded in 2017 that focuses on crafting wines influenced by Mendocino’s many environmental features, from the coastal fogs and breezes to the tall cover of old-growth Redwood trees. Grapes for this particular bottling were sourced from a small block of old vine Carignan on the organic, dry-farmed Trimble Ranch vineyard. The warm site leads to a lively rosé with notes of ripe peaches, melon, and strawberries, with a saline minerality." 91 Points
